Legal Question in Disability Law in New York

i was hurt at work about 2and a half months ago, i filed a claim and filled out papers that were sent to me and never heard back from workers comp.my boss paid me off the books so maybe thats why could you help

If your boss pays you off the books, then in all likelihood, neither he nor you are paying for worker's comp insurance which means that you are not insured and those forms you filled out probably went nowhere.

You could file a complaint with the State Department of Labor but consider the consequences of doing so and also re-consider the 'benefits' of working off the books.
