Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in New York

filed appeal no response for long time

I was charged in NY with 4th degree possesion of a weapon (for chucka stocks) and filed a appeal due to a flaw in the search warrant wrong house number. I have heard nothing from this appeal. Is there a time limit that the state has to respond by ?

Contact the Appellatte Division Court Clerk's Office (If it happened north of Dutchess it is either the Third or Fourth department. The Third sits in Albany, the Fourth in Buffalo) and ask them to look up the case by docket number and make sure there are no problems.
