Legal Question in Banking Law in New York
what should i do when my friend accesses my banking,real estate records,without my knowledge,permission, using his federal privileges?

Real estate records are available to the general public via the City's public website. There, the type and amount of your mortgage note is posted. Your "friend" may be pulling a fast one; however, if he or she obtained information on your deposit accounts then it may be a mis-use of governmental authority that -in my opinion- should be prosecuted.
