When plaintiff's attorney dies, defendant's counsel must serve plaintiff with a Notice, pursuant to CPLR 321(c), to appoint another attorney. What is the correct or proper wording of this Notice?

Re: Notice to Appoint Another Attorney

There is no set wording ... just let everyone know. The defendants may then act to have a new attorney appointed after notice. see CPLR 321
