Legal Question in Business Law in New York

lets say i want to open a company hellogames. I want to form it as an llc. I know that when i do business i have to use hellogames, llc. Now the question is if i give out a business card that says hellogames without filling out a dba can i get into trouble. If yes can i write at the bottom of the business card hellogames, llc. to prevent from getting in trouble. Everywhere else i plan to write hellogames, llc except maybe my website i plan to do the same thing like on the business card. Thank you.

You would need to file an "assumed name" with NYS DOS to use any variation other than "HelloGames, LLC".

As a Franchise Attorney I can only add a business reality to the other answer. Most websites list the dominant use of the mark (in your case "hellogames") on the primary part of the website, but refer to the corporate name *hellogames, llc" in small print in the footer area. Same applies to a business card. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
