Legal Question in Technology Law in New York
student photographs
I am a teacher at a local high school in NY state and we want to build a website. Can we include student photos and their names either indivually or in a group without written permission from said student or parent?

You cannot put them up unless they are in the public domain or you have permission. Tread carefully.
