bought some jewelry

I purchase some jewelry online at one price received my order confirmation number information but now the company is claiming that there was a mistake in the price so the company was me to pay the difference what can I do at this point.

It depends on the price difference. If you should have known that the price was wrong because it was unreasonably low (say $1000 for a 1 carat VVSI E diamond) for the item you purchased, then the company is probably correct that you owe the difference. If the price differential was not substantial enough to arouse suspicion in a reasonable person, then I would think you are on solid legal ground. Assuming you are in possession of the merchandise and that the company is not authorized to charge your account any further, I think you are in the driver's seat as to what occurs at this point.
