Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York
i have a upholstery shop in buffalo ny. a customer brought me a set of seats to redo more than a year ago. the project was completed and many many attempts have been made to contact the customer to pick them up and pay for work done to no avail !!! question: can i sell the seats at this point to recoop my investment without running into a problem should he resurface down the road??? thanks jf

Send a certified mail letter and one by regular mail indicating your attempts to have customer pick up furniture. Provide two week time for pickup and threaten the sale of goods thereafter. If no response, sell the goods. Keep receipts of everything.
