Answering a Summons

I just received a summons that states I have 10 days to ''answer'', what do I do now? How do I ''answer''? I realize my accounts can be frozen as a result, does this include joint accounts?

Yes they can, once a judgment is entered against you. Go to the clerks office & file an answer to the complaint. In the alternative retain a lawyer.
