Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Hi, I had a car loan that i went bad on back in the beginning of 2004. After about four years the debt was sold to another lender. The new agency is reporting to my credit report as if the account is new .They are reporting 2007 the account went to collections. This is not true. I disputed it with Experian last year and they removed the account from credit report in Jan. of this year. I can't seem to get it removed from my Transunion report. I've been disputing the account, I've sent letters. Transunion will not budge. It's been seven years. This company is running an update status on me to extend the time the debt stays on my report with the credit bureaus.

Any ideas on what I should do next?

Thanks for your help
