How do I remove my co sign from an account

I co signed an auto loan for my fiance. We have been broken up since November. She is thraetening to not pay the loan so that my credit will be ruined.How do I remove my name from this loan and if I have to make the payment to protect my credit rating, can I take possession of the car? Thank you.

You can't remove your name...your name was used as the basis for her getting the car...if you pay, you can sue her to get your funds back...you probably cannot get the car...that was not part of the deal...
