Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

seizure of livelihood

a collections agency froze my bank account. I never received a letter from them stating that they were going to do this! My rent is due and I have 5 children to feed, I need help and I need it fast!!!! and on top of that the bank has charged me an insufficient funds fee for the account being in the negative. How can the just go in my account a claim this money without forwarning? I had to borrow Money to go to work and to buy groceries! Please tell me there is something I can do.

go to the court where the jdgment was entered and file a motion to have the judgment vacated.
