Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

Service of a Motion to Punish for Contempt

We served a Subpoena DT against a party, who failed to respond. We are now trying to serve him with a Motion to Punish for Contempt - must this service be made in person? Will 'Due-Diligence' service be acceptable?

Contempt motion should really be by Order to Show Cause where court directs service.

Good Luck.
