Doctor Shopping
seeing multiple Doctors in order to obtain enough Narcotic Pain Medication for my Back Pain. Is Doctor shopping a Felony in New York State.

There are various things to consider, primarily if the drug in question is a controlled substance then secondly what the use of these drugs is. In many instances people doing just what youre describing do so in order to sell the drugs to other individuals later on as a means of profiting off of the insurance companies, usually medicaid.
