Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

My mother is charging me of identity theft. There was a credit card application filled out online using her information and was going to be sent to my home address. There was no card sent out or used. The police came to my home 2 weeks ago and they told me they want me to go and fill out a statement and then placed under arrest regardless of what I tell them and then taken in front of a judge. I am 37 weeks pregnant and on medical bedrest for a high risk pregnancy. I need to know what I should do. Thank you
