Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

My soon to be ex husband's live in girlfriend, has obtained an order of protection against me! I offered to make hair bows for my daughters cheer team that she coaches, by email to my ex. not her. long story but... The order protects my piking up and dropping off and such. I was arrested for violation of said order, for going into my daughters dance studio to inquire about the time of her class. She recently got a job there, and I was arrested for going to her place of employment, and subsequently, am now not allowed to enter the studio at all. Is it not a violation of my parental rights to attend my daughters dance, when she is not there? And by the way I am a dance teacher and hoped to get a job too. HELP. Also, isn't she stalking me, by knowing where I go and whom I speak with, in order to have me arrested?

The order of protection would state the terms and how close you can come to this woman. It seems like some of your question might be resolved by a family court attorney and you should really contact one regarding visitation with your daughter in relation to the order of protection.
