Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York

I was fired yesterday where my former employer claimed poor work performance. I was written up about it last January and it nothing has come up about it in writing or verbally since. Until yesterday, when i was fired because of it. I am 55 years old and was wondering since it is one of the protected classes if there is some way that I have a case of age discrimination since my employer only wrote me up once about poor work preformance a year ago.

If you believe your age was a factor in your termination, you should absolutely speak with a Severance Attorney such as myself to discuss how to either maximize your severance package or discuss the merits of filing a discrimination claim against your employer.

Generally you have a limited period of time to review your severance package, so it is important that you review it with an experienced professional. You may wish to review the information at SeveranceAttorney.com before contacting my office.

I will make myself available to you via telephone consultation if you wish to further discuss this matter.

Regards,
