Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New York

offensive word on TV program

I live in NYC and I am a current subscriber of the paid service of Russian television company which service I'm receiving through Cablevision cable company. In a December 31 musical program there was a Russian song, using certain Russian word , which is very offencive for any Jewish person (it is an exact analog of the infamous ''N'' word).

Is there any way I can protect myself from offences like that?

You could change the channel or write a letter to Cablevision.

Good luck.
