Sexual Discrimination

I was told that I did not get a job because they thought a man would be better. Is this discrimination?

Unless it was a job calling for a human sperm donor, yes, i t sounds like discrimination to me. And even then, with cryogenics, the issue is st ill open.

Stereotyping jobs by sex is usually discriminatory. WHY would a man be better? Is there a bona f ide reason? What was the nature of the job?
