Legal Question in DUI Law in New York

dwi with a 7 year old in the car

A family member got ticketed for having a bac of .14, failure to yield the right of way, and endangerment of a child. It's his third dwi but one was in a different state. What are the max penalties he will face and does he have a defense at all?

It is EXTREMELY important he/she get a lawyer right away...in such a case they could potentially be looking at over a year jail time, and even the loss of the child to ACS.
