As an Inide artist who is self releasing, what % should I pay my producer for royalties?

If you're referring to producing a sound recording, it's negotiable depending upon the amount and nature of services performed and the experience of the producer. A common indie arrangement would be 2% - 3% of retail. A producer is usually entitled to recoup its out of pocket costs as well from revenues derived by the artist and will also be entitled to a pro rata portion of any advance.
