Re: child support

Child support can be awarded when the parents are not living together but still married. Support can even be awarded when the parties are living together but one parent is not providing support for the child.

If you need to discuss this matter further you can contact my office at 516.746.4747 or [email protected].

Yes. If you are separated from your wife you can be sued for child support. There are even situations thatyou can be sued for child support even if you are not separated.

Re: child support

The short answer is yes. Whether or not she will be granted it is another story.

If you are separated, then it is usuallly more clear cut; child support is a percentage of income.

However, if you are living together, it can be a bit trickier, since when other expenses are already being paid, you have to be careful about paying for things twice.

For specific advice, you should speak to a lawyer in a confidential setting.
