child visitation

can a mther move out of state when there is a court order for the father to have visition every other weekend ,she makes evry excuse not to bring him , i havent seen my son in almost 6months we have a court date for 8/6/2007 she also told the court she moved but didnt mention out of state

Relocation in cases where visitation would be infringed upon, requires consent of the court. So if she does not mention it to the court I suggest you do.

Under the leading case, Mother must show that the relocation was in the best interests of the child. You may wish to seek a change in custody.
