Divorce: How fast?
I thought it took one year from the time of a legal separation to obtain a divorce in NY. My husband says it can be done almost immediately. How can that be done?

It is true, but it requires the assertion
of fault grounds, namely, adultery,
cruel and Inhuman, abandonment or constructive
abandonment.
If there is a written agreement of settlement
courts will rarely question the validity
of the grounds.
