Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I want to give power of attorney to my relative in Pakistan, what kind of paper i need to write it on? any regular paper of some special paper i should type on?

For a power of attorney, the form must comply with New York State General Obligations Law 5-1501, et. seq. You can probably obtain the form from a legal stationary store. You may also purchase the form through the New York State Bar Association website.

It is not an easy form to prepare. There are various places where you have to initial and sign. There are also various amendments to the form for different powers that you want to give to the agent. If the form is signed in Pakistan, it must be acknowledged at the US Consolute.
