High school student pays child support?

is it true what i heard that grandparents are now having to pay child support when a teenage father is still in high school and does not have a job? is it based on the grandparents salary?

The short answer is NO. The grandparents may feel that they are morally obligated to pay child support, but the law will not require them to do so.
