Legal Question in Family Law in New York

i live in ny . my parents have been married for 30 years im 19 i have a 16 year old sister. my dad owns a house the deed is in his name my moms is no where on it. now she claims that she is going to sign divorce papers by this week. its going to be free for her cuz shes unemployed and expensive for dad. now she is getting 700$ a month from my dad for my sisters child support and we all live in the same house. she claims that she is going to get me and my dad kicked out and that we should pack our things. how is it possible that she is going to do this. i mean would the legal system really kick me my sister and dad out for her? i really want her to leave . she is massively verbally abusive i want her out how do i get her out.

It all depends on the divorce decree, what your father wants and what the court will award to the custodial parent or the minor child.
