Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I know someone who owes 75,000,00 in back child support. He was working and once new york social services found him he quit his job. again.

What I can't understand is why I can't find a free web site to see if he has a warrant or to let them know where he is.If they arrest people who only owe 2000.00 why not someone who owes that much?

The mother's children should hire a search service, a private detective, or let social services handle it (assuming she is getting benefits from the state).

Once the mother finds the father, she can notify the authorities or at the minimum serve him with civil papers. However, there are a number of fathers who spend more time trying to run away from paying child support than living a normal life. They have a twisted sense of responsibility.

You can go to the NY Department of State site and see if there is a child support warrant.
