Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am paying child support according to a court order in New York State but now my daughter has moved out of state to GA. Does my ex have the right to get a new court order in GA for child support? I am still paying according NY and I am still a NY resident.

I am licensed in New York and Georgia. Yes, after six months, Georgia has jurisdiction regarding child custody and visitation. If she wants to go through the court system regarding child support modification, New York will retain jurisdiction. If she goes through child support services, the two states may become involved. It would behoove her to keep child support in New York courts. You pay child support in New York until 21. In Georgia, its 18.
