Re: seperation

Hi:

This really depends on how agreeable each of the parties are, whether there are assets and liabilities involved, children and custody issues, etc.

I will be available at a no cost consultation to help point you in the proper direction. You can find my contact info on my profile.

Good Luck

Re: seperation

A separation agreement is a document that you will live under without getting a divorce. In New York, it can be converted to a divorce after one year. The costs associated with a separation are the negotations between you and your spouse and the drafting of the agreement. You should consult with an attorney to discuss all of the topics and areas of concern including child support and possible spousal support.

If I can be of any assistance, I offer a free consultation.

Re: seperation

The cost for a legal separation depends on the attorney you retain. If the parties have agreed on the issues that keeps costs down. However, if either party needs legal advice during the process the costs rise. You can go to my website for a free consultation. www.traceyabloodsaw.com
