what is my time period to respond

i have received a disolution of marriage dated 4/25 from florida. how long do i have to respond as i need time to seek an attorney in new york?

Is the action taking place in Florida?

If the matter is a Florida action then you will need to obtain counsel in Florida unless you believe that New York is the proper forum to handle the divorce.
