What is the age in New York State for a person to move out of the parent's house without their consent?

What are the actions the parents can do to prevent the person from leaving at the age of 18?

You can become emancipated if you are able to support yourself. However, your parents can be subject to a neglect/abuse case if CPS deems you neglected by their failure to provide adequate guardianship.
