Re: breach of contract

If you, in fact, have only two days left to file on the 6-year statute of limitations for breach of contract, then your statute of limitations runs on a Saturday and is carried over to Monday pursuant to the the General Obligations Law.

There are no paralegals at the court for you to hire. You couldn't hire a paralegal anyway because it is illegal for them to give legal advice.

While there is a Pro Se Clerk, that person can only give you the necessary forms. He or she will not dispense legal advice.

Lastly, how is it that you selected Civil Kings? You should speak to an attorney first to determine if Civil Kings has jurisdiction and is a proper venue.

More importantly, it is ill-advised to file in Civil court without using an attorney. Civil Kings is not Small Claims Court, which has lax rules and was created especially with persons like you in mind. The full rules of the CPLR strictly apply in Civil Court.

Hope this helps.
