Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

My girlfriend left me almost three months ago, without even telling me she was going to, and left all of her stuff here and said she didn't want it back so I got rid of it recently. Now shes trying to take me to court for it. What can i do?

You can go to court and explain your position, she has to prove her case and the value of her "stuff", for that she will need receipts, pictures, etc.

Make sure you appear in court if she sues you; otherwise she could take a default against you without you having the opportunity to be heard.
