If there was legal malpractice committed on a civilsuit, therefore the civilsuit was thrown out up to the highest court...Is it possible the civilsuit can be reopen again due to attorney's neglience? Using new attorney.

Re: Reopen civilsuit

Unlikely. Your grounds for redress are against your attorney if he committed malpractice.

Re: Reopen civilsuit

You would not re-open the suit but rather, sue the old attorney. Howver, if this case was appealed to the Court of Appeals, on its face any malpractice would appear highly unlikely.

Good Luck

Re: Reopen civilsuit

You may be able to sue your attorneys for legal malpractice but your have not listed sufficient facts about your case. In addition, I would have to read the Court of Appeals decision to see why you lost. If you want to discuss your case, you may call me at 212-622-7180. We handle these cases on a contigency basis.
