A person is obligated to honor their Lease Agreement to pay rent to the "landlord" unless the Lease Agreement is legally and properly transferred, assigned or terminated, by the landlord /owner; or by proper legal authority, ie., Judge / Court of Law, etc... And, the Tenant rmust have received formal written Notice of same. Good luck.
