adjustment of status

i came here almost a year ago on a visa waifer after i was here i decided to marry my fiance now i am looking to stay here legally is this possible

An important factor that was left out of your question is the current immigration status of your fiance. If they are a USC then you may be able to adjust status immediately.

Otherwise, marriage in itself would not result in an ability to apply for a Green Card.

You should consult with an immigration lawyer before moving forward on any application with USCIS.
