Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

I applied for renewal of my L1 Visa under premium processing. The USCIS has asked for RFE, please let me know why this happened inspite of my case being very genuine. I did a gross income of half million and have appointed 4 employees since last 7 months, before my application for renewal.??

It depends on what exactly they asked for in the RFE. I need to see a copy of the RFE in order to advise you.

Typical questions in L1 RFE's are whether the beneficiary is performing duties appropriate for the visa category, and whether both the foreign company and the U.S. company are viable and whether sufficient documentation has been submitted to support such argument, etc. A review of the RFE combined with review of copy of I-129 and support letter submitted with initial L1 as well as with the extension is required to offer suitable legal opinion.
