Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

I came into the country 5 yrs ago to get married to my wife and we filed for me and my daughters green card. about a year ago my daughter's biological mom came to the state and got married. Now she demands to have possession of the my daughters green card. Is it in her rights to have possession of the card? who would be the sole handler and possession of the card?
