I am a student on F1 status but having

an EAD card ( authorised to stay in US)

Can i apply for Green Card?

What is the basic minimum requiremnt

under my status?

Generally, your work authorization will only allow you to work for one year. Your ability to apply for your green card will depend on an employer's willingness to sponsor you or if you have a family member that can sponsor you. There are other options, but those are the most common. If you wish to remain in the US longer, and work legally, I recommend that you speak with an immigration attorney who can advise you regarding your options.
