What happens to a trademark if one of two partners die?\nWhat happens to a trademark if both partners die?

The trademark is like any other piece of property - it is devisable (that is, it can be left to a descendant in a will). If follow up filings such as certificates of continued use and renewals are not made, however, the trademark will no longer be enforceable and/or be deemed abandoned.
