Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in New York

Legal Age to move out.

okay, im 17 year old male, i have about a B+ to an A+ in school and im working part time about 27 1/2hrs a week making an income, i own my own car and soon will have my liscense. I want to know if i can legally move out of my unstable house at 17. i mentally cannot handle it. Im not being physically absuved but i cant take it any more. and i just want to take care of my self to help my self be better. Is there anyways that i can do this in New York state?

Yes. You need to bring a petion in family court for emancipation. You can go to family court intake and a clerk will help you with the forms.
