Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

Can an employer physically touch an employee? For example, I saw a manager physically put both hands on another employee's shoulders and physically push her to make her move faster. This doesn't seem right.

You are correct. It is not right. If the other employee feels like it, perhaps she should consult an attorney.
