Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I was hired at my job the do certain hours, I let them know that i was a student and now they are trying to switch my hours. I have ask them to not change my schedule, but at this time I'm unsure if they are willing to cooperate. If I am fired for this what can I pursue legally.

Unfortunately, there is no legal recourse for the situation you described. You may, however, obtain unemployment benefits if there is no objection by your employer.
