Do I need witnesses to pursue and win an award for verbal and mental harassment from managers and supervisors for an extended period of time: more than 2 years?

Do you need witnesses? No. Would they make your case better? Absolutely.

Re: Job Harassment

you do not NEED witnesses, however trial, and cases such as these, are all about believability - if you work for a small office and you are the sole employee it is a diffrent story than if you are in a company of hundreds of people... lack of witnesses may be more forgiveable in such a case, however being that this is a case of 'he' said 'she' said without question witnesses make more of an impact, it is only natural that it would...

another question would be, are there no witnesses, or simply no witnesses willing to come forward at this stage, that also makes quite a difference...

overall, you should consult with an attorney about such a case and seek to hire representation - if an attorney believes you have a good case, in most circumstances you wont even have to come out of pocket for any expenses... so attempting to start such an action on your own may not be the best recourse, as you very well may have free assistance available...
