i cant afford this fine
my past landlord wanted me to pay for damages (unknown to myself) from my previous apt. i've spoken with there lawyers a few times for an itemized list and other things. now the sheriff is going to take $215. per week out of my paycheck, which leaves me with about $100 per week to support myself and my 2 children. i need to know how to arrange something where i can pay this ridiculous fine and still support my family.

There is something missing in your explanation. Has the landlord received a judgment against you? Did you sign a settlement agreement? If not, who informed you that the sheriff is going to take $215 from you per week?
