Am I a Tenant and what are my rights?

Ok I just turned 20 a few days ago and I live with my parents. Basically I know most will side with them because they are parents but they are crazy and I don't have enough space to go into details about how my life is. I do not make enough money yet to move out and dont have enough saved. I'm self employed(just started) and where I live the jobs are mostly retail so even when I get a 2nd job I can't move out right away unfortunately. My pare so called parents use the threat of kicking me out to stop me from doing things I want to do LIKE GETTING THE JOB I WANT WHEN I WAS OFFERED IT. They instead want me to work at walmart. This makes no sense and makes me think they don't ever want me to make enough money to move out. Anyway I don't pay rent but this is my residency.

They called the cops at me last night because I told them I wasn't going to walmart I was going to the job I wanted that paid 3 TIMES AS MUCH MONEY A MONTH and they spazzed on me so cops came in. I was under the belief that if kicked out I would need a 30 day notice but I heard the cops whispering with them. Next thing I know the cops said if they call again you'll have to leave. DON'T I HAVE ANY RIGHTS?

You have a whole slew of rights, but while you are living in your parents house,as an adult, presumably rent free, you have surrendered your rights. I would suggest you make plans to either live by their rules, work out a rent agreement with them -- which would transfer your relationship into a landlord-tenant situation and would provide you with certain rights of residency, or make plans to move out as soon as possible. While many people seek to better themselves even with entrepenaurial endeavors, few have the luxury of doing it while not needing to be concerned about the costs of life including those relating to shelter.
