Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York

Tenant's with disabilities

I was wondering, I have rheumatoid athritis and I am unable to work and my husband was in a car accident and lost most of the usage of his right arm. Both of us have doctor's notes stating that we are unable to work at this time, can we still be evicted?
