Re: clients issues

A client can tell his lawyer anything he wants. However, when it comes to facts, money or disposition of the case, usually the client has the final word. A lawyer cannot settle a case without client consent.

When it comes to legal strategy, how a case is presented in court, or ethical considerations in court, usually the lawyer has the final word. A lawyer cannot ask for testimony he or she knows is false.
