Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

I took a group of children to an amusement park and a child, age 7, was injured on a ride but did not need medical attenion at the moment. Days later, I found out the child had a broken rib from the parents. There are no records at the amusement park and the parent wants me to be responsible. What should I do?

Unless you caused the accident, I do not see any liability. Report it to your home owners liability carrier.

I take it you were not connected to any school, camp, church program, etc. If you were, you should report the incident to supervisors immediately. If you acted alone, and you have any sort of homeowner's insurance, contact your broker or carrier, and inform them of the incident. Best, M.E. Zulelr
